"AI drones that detect wildfires 18 minutes faster than existing systems"
About Arclight Robotics
The average wildfire detection lag today is 23 minutes. Studies show that detection within 5 minutes reduces the probability of an uncontrollable blaze by 87%. Arclight Robotics closes this gap.
Our autonomous drone fleets patrol high-risk areas continuously, using onboard edge AI to distinguish fire signatures from false positives (BBQs, sunlight reflections) with 99.2% accuracy. When a fire is detected, our system alerts emergency services with GPS coordinates, thermal imagery, and a predicted spread model within 90 seconds.
We have live contracts with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and two county fire departments, covering 180,000 acres under monitoring. ARR: $720K. This raise funds hardware scale-up and new state contracts in Arizona and Oregon.
